Story

I am hoping to raise around £1000 towards the purchase of the 'Cheetah'. Brand new these bikes cost around £7000 but there is a ex demo model currently available to us at around £5000.

We would like to purchase this bike as it is completely different to the rest of our fleet. It appeals to riders with physical disabilities who want to be able to put in real mileage as well as have a good time. In fact one of our users recently rode this very bike 600 miles from Cambridge to Ben Nevis! (https://www.facebook.com/2013InTheFrame)

The bike will be the first of a number of bikes specifically purchased for physical disability use. This is an area we are currently lacking and there is very little provision across the county for disable people who wish to try out adapted cycling.

The fantastic support shown to us by our community in the recent #votetoride Peoples Millions campaign helped us secure £50,000 from the national lottery. This will be used to create the ideal riding environment. Bikes like the 'Cheetah' will allow us to get the most out of that facility.
