Story
Chernobyl Children on an English holiday
Dear friends,
This summer we are going to give two kids from Belarus a long and healthy holiday with us in beautiful Sussex.
As you will remember, Southern Belarus received 70% of the radioactive fallout from the Chernobyl nuclear explosion in 1986. The radiation still comes from the nuclear plants and contaminates air and soil in the area.
Bringing the children to the UK is thought to add in excess of 2 years to their life expectancy and reduce the risk of thyroid cancer.
Travel expenses amount to £ 430 per child and go directly to the organising charity, the Chernobyl Children's Lifeline.
Please help us get them here and enjoy this beautiful English summer!
Thank you for reading and supporting us!
Warm regards
Edi Francesca Laura Luigi
