Radio Marsden is a lovely little volunteer-run radio station for the patients of the Royal Marsden hospitals. I volunteer with them every Sunday and have an amazing experience each and every time, meeting patients, hearing heart-warming stories and playing cracking requests.

The Royal Marsden is a specialist cancer hospital where my mum was treated during her battle with cancer, and I'm so proud that I can now help patients make their stay a little nicer and a bit more personal by playing some songs for them.

As the radio station is fully volunteer run, all the money raised will go back into the station - not towards paying wages which is great. We are currently raising money to rebuild the studio in the Chelsea hospital which has been out of action for 10 years now. Once it's up and running, we'll be able to provide the same personalised service to the patients at both sites.
