Story
On Monday, 27th April Susie will be having surgery to fight an extremely rare cancer and to save her life. The operation is extremely serious and will last most of the day. Whilst the surgery is taking place we are trying to raise money for a good cause in her merit.
We are raising money for the Jonny Fraser Memorial Scholarship Fund. The fund was set up by Susie and her parents in memory of her brother Jonny who drowned in 2005 whilst saving the life of another. The scholarship fund raises money for master's degree students from the developing world to go to Jerusalem's Hebrew University. Upon completion of their studies the students return to their communities empowered with skills to make positive contributions and effect change in their home countries. Previous scholarship fund recipients have studied social work, agriculture and animal welfare.
Let's all spend the day thinking positive thoughts and sending Susie all the luck in the world.
