About Children Heard and Seen
Children Heard and Seen, is a charity that works to mitigate the effects of parental imprisonment on children, young people and their families.We aim to provide quality services for children with a family member in prison.
An estimated 200,000 children age under 18 are separated by parental imprisonment and on any given day in the UK. This figure is two-and-a-half times more than the number of children in care and six times the number of children on the child protection register.
