We are Chris and Harry (Father and Son) and we will be cycling 250 miles from London to Paris. We'll be carrying everything we need for the trip, without the luxury of a support vehicle. 

Chris is on the advisory board, and Harry a trustee for the Buddy Bag Foundation. The charity is only 12 months old, but we are already making a real difference to children in emergency care. 

The Buddy Bag foundation supplies Buddy Bags for children who arrive in emergency care, after being forced to flee violent situations, having to leave home quickly, without the chance to collect even basic items. 

A Buddy Bag is a backpack that contains all essential items that a child needs. This includes toiletries, pyjamas, socks and underwear. They also include comfort items such as a book, a photo frame and a teddy bear. A Buddy Bag is something a child can call their own, no matter where they go.

A Buddy Bag costs £25. So by achieving our goal of £500, together, we will change the lives of 20 children.
