Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Medics against Violence is a healthcare charity involved in violence prevention. As part of our work we often visit the young offenders institution at Polmont near Falkirk to spread our violence prevention message. The boys are always very interested in what we do and some them wanted to help us with our next fundraising event the Run for Health Hope and Happiness and with the help of the amazing staff there we have managed to arrange for 14 of them to run our 5 and 10K races from within the prison tomorrow.

The boys are keen to help A Community in Motion one of our partner projects which works with young people in the East End of Glasgow. The boys running have a real hope that those young people make better choices than they did and this is their way of giving something back. Change is a journey and they are well on their way. Please support them.
