Story
Over the last few years, we’ve been raising funds for fantastic North West-based charity, Claire House Children’s Hospice.
We’re immensely proud of our efforts to date and we’re determined to continue our charitable work for Claire House.
Our Head of Technical and Design, John Davies is about to take on The Three Peaks Challenge. Climbing Ben Nevis, Snowdon and the Scafell Pike in the Peak District in 24 hours; that’s right, all three mountains in one day!
Please get behind John as he takes on this mammouth challenge!
Ways in which we have raised funds previously include:
- Company Payroll Scheme: our employees voluntarily gave and continue to give donations from their salaries each month
- Company Dress Down: we assigned additional monthly dress down days where our staff each paid £2 to rid themselves of corporate threads for the day!
- Marathons
And some of the zanier ways our team have contributed include:
- Tough Mudder: 14 employees raised money by competing at the Tough Mudder event. Essentially, this band of nutcases put months of arduous training to the test by completing a 12 mile obstacle course devised by the Special Forces. Ice pools, fire and 10,000 volts of electricity; the guys experienced it all in the mud around Cholmondeley Castle.
- Sponsored Haircut: to many people, this isn’t much of a challenge. However, Account Manager Michel Monsellato had gone FIVE years without having one! Michel’s wife had never known her husband without his locks, so when he was willing to let some of his fellow colleagues loose with a pair of scissors on them in the name of charity, all of Click Consult wanted to get their hands into their pockets to do their bit for Claire House (and to see the look on Michel’s face!).
Donations are always greatly received as we continue to look for more ways to raise funds for this fantastic cause.
