Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hope Village is a community based project.  Our heart is to love outrageously and one of the ways we do this is by offering a free clinic to the surrounding community.  We don't have a trained nurse or a Doctor on site but we do the best we can we with what we have.

One of the main things we do is offer malaria testing and medication.  We live in a high risk area and many people die of malaria just because they have not made it to the hospital in time.

We also offer first aid, especially to people who have wounds.  We recently had a lady who had a huge wound on her breast, she had been given antibiotics from the hospital and told to come daily to have it cleaned.  She was not able to get the the hospital because of the distance so we dressed it each day for her and it has healed beautifully.

The other day Paul had both men and women come in to complain of problems with their private parts, 15 cases of malaria and all were positive, 2 wounds, constipation, eye infections and several with skin infections.  We are being overwhelmed and are running out of medication very quickly.

If you would like to support something that makes a real difference to the people in this community then please consider making a donation to our clinic so we can buy more medicine.  Every little helps :)
