Story
Please meet our emergency girlie Bella a lovely Parson Terrier type of just 12 months. Sadly she was living with another older bitch and the girls had a 'spat' over a sausage during which Bella has suffered a broken leg and multiple puncture wounds. Her owners were not insured and opted for a cast, unfortunately the fracture is not straight forward and this procedure has failed. Bella's owners have taken advice and realised that the girls can no longer co-habitate and have decided to keep the older girl who caused the damage. (We never recommend two terrier type bitches together). Therefore Bella urgently needed to find a rescue place that would take on a dog with her injuries and ECR were contacted as a local rescue that would undertake to give this affectionate girl a second chance by pinning/plating her leg. Martin Nel at Bridge Vets, an expert surgeon who has carried out many procedures on our rescue dogs is operating on her urgently tomorrow. We are looking to raise in the region of £1500 to cover the procedure and aftercare and will be setting up a Just Giving page for Bella's op x Please help by donating if you can x
