It all started with
A Smile for Millions of Children 111 Swim
In April 2012, where we raised over £3,000 to feed a whole school of children for 1 year in the Rajasthan state. There was a group of 5 swimmer's including myself.

Next, In  April 2013 under
A Smile for Millions of Children 250 Mile Plus Bike Ride / Run,
https://www.justgiving.com/asmileformillionsofchildren-akshayapatra-250plusbikeride-2013/
we raised over £5500 to feed 2 school's of children for 1 year in the Mathura State UP,  and Rajasthan state. There was a total of 35 runner's / Biker's who participated.  The Bridge of many people to come onto 1 platform to help others is so amazing.

Now, In the 2 months starting 1st July 2014 until 31st August 2014, i would love to have the lovely bridge of people coming together to sponsor at least 1 school. I personally will want to challenge myself and do at least 400 miles of Bike Riding within 2 months. I feel it is tough, but i feel i will love to take the challenge to raise more money to be able to quash the hunger problem that is occuring in India. There are many people who have already advised they would love to join the team. I am grateful to them.

I sure know how painful it is to go without food for a short period of time. There are children who go to sleep with an empty stomach. There are children out there who rather work than to study, to fill their stomach.

I would like to invite as many people as possible to come and help raise monies for The Akshaya Patra foundation. They do a beautiful job of taking the money out there, and provide the essential food that has quality nutrients.

Theme: The Green Mile.
As well as raising monies for the children, i would like to make it a point that we must do everything we can for the environment. Before i start my challenge, i decided i must do something for the environment. I arranged to bring 5 Sacred Tulsi (Basil) Plant's into the house. It took me a long time to arrange, but i am happy to say i am looking after them. If we take care of our environment, in turn, we will be making this world a better place for our children.

Global Warming
If we dont take steps to look after our world, our Children will face the consequence. We must do all we can to eliminate Hunger, but we also need to make sure that the future generation have a better place to  live in. As well as donating for the children, lets all pledge to make this place better by planting a tree, or bring 5 plants in the house, or start by 1 plant pot. Everyone is busy in their lives and not bothered about mother nature. We are churning up new technology every second. The world is getting loaded with more pollution. We are producing materials that harm our Rivers, the air that we breathe etc. So , please lets also pledge to make a better place. Let's make this place more greener.

Please Join Our Team to Eliminate Hunger.
