Story
Reims, France to Venice, Italy.
1250 miles.
3 days. In cars that cost less than £200.
What could possibly go wrong??
Why are we doing this?
As a company that works closely with start-ups, and helps entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions, we’re passionate about nurturing the next generation of business-people and entrepreneurs. We believe that the work that Young Enterprise do in helping young people understand and develop their talents within the world of business will help power the next generation of high growth companies.
Young Enterprise is a leading enterprise and financial education charity. They help young people ages 4 – 25 understand everything from how to manage their personal finances to how to set up and run a company. Their flagship Company Programme has students aged 15 – 19 setting
up their own business, assigning company roles, creating a consumer product and selling if for the period of one year. These companies aim to generate a profit, and at the end of the year the companies are wound up and taxes are paid. The companies can also take part in local and national Young Enterprise competitions.
We believe that the skills young people learn in this setting will be immensely valuable within their future careers, and are skills that are almost impossible to build within a classroom setting, or from a textbook. This is why we are so keen to support their work.

Having decided who we wanted to support, we set out searching for something different to do in order to raise the money. Then, one morning, Gordon one of our directors came in having heard of the
'Crumball Rally' – a 683 mile car journey, over 3 days, from Reims (France) to Venice (Italy), in cars that cost no more than £200.
So, we signed up. 2 people per car, 2 cars.
The cars will be decorated beautifully to the theme of James Bond - pictures to follow...
We are grateful of any donation you can give us and everything we receive will of course, go to Young Enterprise.
