In memory of Connor Richards

Story

Connor was a committed and passionate Tartan Army foot soldier who made friends wherever he travelled. Our travels together could be summed up in the words of one of the Proclaimers best known songs -

"If I get drunk, well I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man who gets drunk next to you and if I haver, yeah I know I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be the man who's havering to you."

Connor loved children and a new fund Slik14 has been set up - his nickname and favourite number. As well as supporting disadvantaged children in Scotland a donation will be made in every country that Scotland play to children's institutions (orphanages, hospitals, special needs schools) or individual children, according to their requirements. This may include the funding of specified activities, clothes, toys, educational equipment, medical items etc. This will leave a lasting legacy to Connor so the warmth and love we were all so fortunate to share with him can be spread around the world. Connor would be proud of this and be a part of enhancing the reputation of the Tartan Army which he was privileged to be a member of.

Taken far too soon at the tender age of 22 "his memory marches on"

"Forever we will be singing to the Angels high above"

Gone but never forgotten
