Muswell Hill resident, Kelly Dickson, is one of the UK’s most sought after jazz/soul vocalists, she has performed regularly at Ronnie Scott’s, supported John Legend at Dubai’s Jazz Festival and shared the stage with Gwen Stefani. Her voice has been described by Jamie Cullum as “A highly individual, mature voice with very subtle power that creeps up on you".

Kelly and her partner, Werner Kristiansen (Chapter Two) regularly host charity concerts, the most recent being ‘Just for Japan’ following the devastating Tsunami in Japan, for which they raised an incredible £6,000. On December 19th they will host ‘Cool Yule’ in aid of the Microloan Foundation.

The Microloan Foundation
gives underprivileged women in Africa small business loans which are then paid back and passed on to another woman. It gives women the opportunity to build something of their own making and in turn help their community.

The concert will take place at The Raglan Hotel, who regularly support Kelly’s concerts and kindly donate their hall space to her for free. This Christmas they are also doing a ‘coffee and mince pie’ give away on the 23rd December, with all proceeds also going to The Microloan Foundation.

The concert will also feature guest performances from some of London’s most exciting musical talent including nu-jazz vocalist Louise Golbey who recently supported jazz legend George Benson, jazz vocalist Sofia Wilde and guitarist Werner Kristiansen (Lilly Allen, Kid Creole)Kelly will also present vocal performances from her locally based students which brings a real feel of the community to these unique events.

This concert is being supported by The Raglan Hotel, Sound Generation and the Microloan Foundation.

If you would like to buy a ticket simply donate £10 (minimum), or if you would just like to make a donation please donate anything you can! We're grateful for all donations, every penny counts!

Thank you so much for your support!
