Story
Currently in the UK women make up only 13% of people working in Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths (STEM). At the Stemettes we want to see more girls pursuing careers in STEM. We run inspiring events to do this: panels, hackathons, exhibitions and mentoring where the girls can meet amazing women in STEM. They code websites, games, mobile apps and more. We fill girls with confidence and show them that it is not their supposed lack of talent that is holding them back in STEM!

I have worked as Managing Stemette on the Stemettes project, which was basically "air traffic control" for a small and exciting 2 person startup. The Stemettes is still exactly that! I spend my spare time loving social enterprise, exercising and eating.
