Story

From David:

Through my day job, I've met some inspirational people working to support survivors of rape and sexual abuse.

Last month I visited the Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre.  They have been working away quietly but steadfastly for forty years to support women who have endured the most unimaginably awful experiences.

A shocking majority - 97% - of rape cases don't result in a conviction, therefore it is even more important that organisations like the Glasgow Rape Crisis Centre are financially resourced to provide sensitive and confidential support to rape victims.

To do that vital work, they need money.  That's why I've chosen Glasgow's Rape Crisis Centre as my nominated charity for this year's Great Scottish Run.

I would be incredibly grateful if you could spare some cash - even the price of a cup of coffee - for this inspirational charity which has been working away for forty years and deserve our recognition and support.

Please dig deep!
