Story

At the Breast Unit in Russells Hall Hospital, we are trying to improve our understanding of the mechanisms by which physical activity may affect cancer. We have a team of doctors, nurses and exercise specialists and scientist who are working together to improve the outcome of breast cancer through physical activity.

It is known that women who remain physically active after the diagnosis of breast cancer can live for longer and have better quality of life.

The science about the interactions between obesity, breast cancer and physical activity is still being researched by our team.

Therefore if you could contribute to my fund it will help us to continue with this important research.
