As part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations Ruxley is delighted to be sponsoring a dinner in aid of ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity. 

As many of you already know, this charity is particularly dear to us all at Ruxley.  Soldiers risk so much for us and inevitably there are fatalities and serious injuries.  The ABF – The Soldiers’ Charity provides much needed assistance to serving and retired soldiers and their families. 

Over the last two years, the charity has seen a 30% rise in applications from soldiers who have taken part in previous and current conflicts.  Help includes mobility assistance, care home fees and respite breaks.  The Charity must increase its fundraising to be sure that it can help each soldier that needs help.

The dinner will be held on Thursday 24 May at Prism Restaurant.

You will see from the invitation that the other sponsors are Boodles, the fine Jewellery specialists and Prism, a Harvey Nichols Restaurant.  Boodles has kindly donated a magnificent necklace which will be given away in the prize draw and will also be showcasing some of its jewellery which will be adorned on dancing girls!  There will be all kinds of other things happening during the evening including a delicious three course meal with wine. 

We really hope that you, your friends and colleagues, will join us in celebrating the Diamond Jubilee and supporting such a worthwhile cause.
