Our aim is to give young people social and personal skills through our drumming sessions. In the UK the sessions are run at various youth establishments or schools in the community and come together regularly at a central hub. Through this programme we are able to give young people self confidence, motivation, and emotional development by introducing them to the value of team work. Also a sense of community cohesion can be created by linking the various groups through a central hub. We are looking to start a similar project in Johannesburg.
