I believe the OYT do a fantastic job giving young people from all walks of life the experience of a lifetime. I have seen first hand the positive influence that the charity has had on individuals and am proud to be a part of that. But I feel it is important that young people aren't prevented from coming aboard due to financial reasons, so that is why I am doing my part in raising £6000. Young people face a big challenge when they come aboard for the first time, well this is my big challenge as I have never cycled this distance before. But I am looking forward to it and have invested in a padded seat and lots of deep heat!

Last year I complete the Great North Run and raised about £1000 for the OYT, so please sponsor me again for my 2012 challenge - it is much appreciated.
