Hi there,
On 21st March 2016, Stuart my partner, and myself were involved in a car crash and tragically Stuart lost his life. He was a truly inspirational and amazing person. He volunteered for SARA, (seven area rescue association) based in Kidderminster. He loved being out on the boats and also helping others and SARA was a perfect combination of that. Stuart was always very supportive and proud of my various fundraising efforts over the years, and came and supported me last year when I ran the Birmingham half marathon for the stroke association. So I thought it would be a fitting tribute to him to run it again this year, to raise money for SARA. I am almost recovered from my injuries and am well enough to run again, so although I might not complete it in a great time, I feel blessed I am still here, and more importantly to carry on helping others, just as Stuart would have wanted. So please donate, it doesn't matter how small a donation it is, every little helps!
