Story

Everyone is used to 'evites' nowadays so here's one with a twist. Please make a donation to RSVP, and let us know if you can come with the comments!

Seriously, the SEED Project has been doing amazing work in Zimbabwe, empowering local communities to improve their livelihoods on an amazingly tight budget.  Please don't take my word for it, visit the website and read for yourself the amazing impact they have for a total annual expenditure of less than a single average London salary!

They are now urgently need of new donations as a grant that has been about a quarter of their budget for the last few years ran out this year. If we reach our target through this party, which is likely to be only about £20 per attendee plus £10 per apology (yes, you can also donate if you're not coming!), that will offer them over half the funds they need to balance the books for fourth quarter.  Lets face it, they need it much more than we need more wine (yes, please don't BYOB!).

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many thanks indeed for your support.

SEED facilitates sustainable development in Zimbabwe. It consults, empowers - never imposes. SEED works in communities with high unemployment and ill health, and low hope and opportunities. It enables communities to fulfil their dreams:– education, health, water, sanitation, agriculture, business.
