With my Aconcagua attempt over (for now)... I'm now off to Russia in the summer to attempt my next conquest, Mount Elbrus. It stands at 5,642m on the Russian-Georgian border, and will hopefully be my second peak on the journey, following my aborted attempt on Aconcagua!

I'm participating in this challenge because I love being in the high mountains, and as such I have paid for the trip privately. However, the reason that I got into this in the first place is through my involvement in the Boys' Brigade. Every week the BB changes lives all over Scotland, but to do this we need your help to ensure that we are capable of training the leaders vital to running each individual company.
