A very wonderful person has asked for a donation instead of a gift.

We think that makes both them and you incredibly special!!! 

Most of us do truly have enough stuff.  Our homes are bursting with wonderful things and we quite often find ourselves saying 'no gifts please'.  By giving instead of gifting, your generosity will be helping a very different home called Nazareth House.

Nazareth House is not an institution it is a loving home to fifteen disabled children in the Dominican Republic.   As is true of many countries in extreme poverty, a disabled child is just too expensive to care for.  With no NHS or governement grants many are abandonded.

A remarkable lady called Sister Mercedes has over the years taken in, loved and cared for 25 children as her own. 

These beautiful children are outgrowing their home.  It's not purpose built, doorways are too narrow and the bathroom doesn't accomodate wheelchairs, there is no lifting equipment or even enough bedrooms.  Worse still the house has been put up for sale and now Sister Mercedes and her children live in constant worry that they will find themselves with no where to go.

Together we CAN raise the money to build a wonderful new home for this very special family.

A home with enough bedrooms and bathrooms, specialist equipment and space for the children to learn, play and live life to the full.
