Story

The SVP Children's Camp volunteers are taking on a 37 mile walk! This walk will start at Broughton Hall Estate (just outside Skipton) and finish at Temple Newsam (Leeds). This walk is to primarily raise funds for our Camp.

The walk will take place between 21st - 22nd June 2014.

The walk was the idea of one of our very close friends and fellow volunteers Darren Spencer. Darren was the president of the camp for many years and took the camp from strength to strength.

Sadly, Darren lost his battle with cancer last year without fulfilling his next fundraising idea. So, as Darrens close friends, we decided to go ahead with the walk, to raise money for the camp Darren (and us all) feel so strongly about. The walk will take place on the anniversary of his death so all of his close friends and family can celebrate his life and his charity efforts together.

Please sponsor us generously!
