Start fundraisingWith Principality Cardiff Half Marathon you can guarantee beautiful scenery, iconic landmarks and historic buildings. The flat route is ideal for seasoned runners and for those looking to take on their first half-marathon challenge! It’s also the largest road race in Wales, with over 27,500 runners taking part each year.
The closed road route begins at Cardiff Castle, taking you past the Principality on the way through Penath, winding down to Cardiff Bay through docks and back towards Cardiff City Centre. You’ll complete a loop of Roath Park lake before heading back to the centre to finish at the Civic Centre at the heart of Cardiff. Throughout the route you’re guaranteed plenty of cheers on race day and the race promises to be an incredible experience that you won’t forget in a hurry! The event village is the perfect place to celebrate at the end of the race, once you’ve collected your finishers medal of course.
