Excelsior Academy is a school based in the North East of England and in October 2014 sent eight pupils and four teachers on a trek of a lifetime to Everest Base Camp. This tremendous adventure took 2 years planning and pushed the members determination and mental strength to their limits, however, this was most definitely worth it as once they embarked on this astounding trek they fell in love with Khatmandu and Nepal. On hearing the news that a severe earthquake hit this unique country all students and members of staff were devastated and instantly agreed to raise money to help those in need throughout this time of tremor and offer as much support to those who are undergoing these terrifying effects of the recent earthquake. We aim to raise as much money as possible and would greatly appreciate your support in providing a brighter future for those dealing with these current devastating ordeals.
