For those that support Hope Village you know that the hungry season ministry is something we do each year.  This is the time of year that people go without because they are waiting for the rains to plant new crops, maize is running low in the country and expensive to buy and there is not a lot of work available. People just don't have enough food to eat so many people just eat one meal a day and they forrest in the bush for wild growing ochre.

Can you imagine only being able to eat once a day, knowing that some days you won't eat at all. This is the reality during the hungry season in Malawi.
