Story

My brother, Joseph, is obsessed with fishing but I've never understood what makes it at all appealing for him... so I thought that I should step out of my comfort zone to save lives all around the world - I'm doing comparatively little. Whilst I will be complaining of being tired, cold and scared at 3am, people around the world will be complaining that the contaminated water they are forced to drink is killing them. So, for the first time, I'm picking up a rod and I'm going to give it a go for 24hrs over the May Bank Holiday when I hope to raise even more money for WaterAid which you may already know I am passionate about!

Every 15 seconds, a child will die of water-related diseases. That's the time it will take for you to read half of this. Donating just £15 can save a life forever, and what will you be sacrificing? A cinema night, a pizza for 2, a taxi ride? For a life. Please, please donate.

I would prefer if you would sponsor me per number or weight of fish caught, as that will incentivize me to keep going throughout, but any form of sponsorship is extremely appreciated.

Please be as generous as possible and save as many lives as you can, because there's no better place your money can go.

On behalf of the children your generous donations will save, and the people who will have a future to look forward to, thank you.

About the charity

Every year, City of London School raises money for a different charity voted for by the students. In 2016, we are supporting Centrepoint which supports more than 9,000 homeless 16-25 year olds a year into a home and a job. They aim to give homeless young people a future and end youth homelessness.
