About Flourish Foundation - with Syrian Refugee children
Flourish foundation aims to improve the emotional well-being of children in developing countries through Art Therapy.
Art therapy can give children the opportunity to speak about the unspeakable, giving them a voice in a non-threatening means.
We have worked in Palestine in a children's hospital, Kenya in a children's orphanage and Mozambique in a very deprived school. Our next project will be in Greece with Syrian refugee children.
We will create and run specialised art therapy workshops specifically for supporting refugee children's emotional wellbeing. We will provide individual therapy and group work depending on their needs.
100% of the funds we raise are to cover the costs of materials needed, flights and simple accommodation of the therapists. The therapists on this project have kindly donated their time and efforts for this much needed project.
