Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our 'Flying for Floss' JustGiving page.
FLYING FOR FLOSS are a group of girls based in Netherfield, Nottingham that are raising money for the Beeston Ward Stroke unit at Nottingham City Hospital in memory of Nikki's gran Floss.
In the first year we raised our target of £10,000 and now we are working towards doubling it!
It is our third year this year of organising a charity skydive and are very pleased to say this years flyers are a fantastic bunch! Sam, Wendy, Lauren, Pheobe and of course our very own Adi Ross who has become an honorary girl this year and will be skydiving in drag!!!!
We have organised and taken part in dozens of events, including a firewalk, sponsored walks, an 80mile bike ride, charity quizzes, coffee and cake mornings, and sponsored football tournaments....this year we plan to raise money for the epilepsy trust on happy purple day (26th of march) and for the Alzheimer's society (21st of June) as well as the stroke unit at Nottingham city hospital.
All our events are based around having fun so please if you wish to get involved just give us a shout!
We are so proud of how much we have raised so far and hope that the future is just as beneficial for the charities we are trying so hard to support. We all really appreciate everyones donations, sponsorship, help and support! Thanks millions x
