Story

In February 2009 my Nan Lyn died from an illness called bowel cancer, my footballing hero Bobby Moore also died from the same illness.

When my Nan died I decided I wanted to do something special in her memory and to save other people from dying of bowel cancer too.

Every February around their anniversary I complete a long charity walk, people come from around the world to walk with me.  Lots of people send me angel names, people they have lost to cancer too.  I put all of the names on my challenge shirt and walk in their memory and honour.  So far I have walked completed almost 1000 miles for over 500 angels.  I also arrange lots of other events to raise funds and awareness for The Bobby Moore Fund.

I have not set a target for my fund raising because I want to raise as much as I can and keep going ...... my target is a cure.

You can find out lots about me on my website www.fornannyandbobby.com or you can follow me on Twitter www.twitter.com/jonjoheuerman or Facebook
