Story
So last year we raised a whopping £2,700 in aid of building a new fox unit at Freshfields Animal Rescue. To do this I had to conquer my fear of heights and abseiled down the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Well this year the unit is all set up along with some nice Shoreline cages as well.
It's time to up the ante - abseiling is so 2015. I need to do something more daring, something more dangerous. Something that will show how serious I am about promoting Freshfields Animal Rescue's cause of wildlife conservation, that I'm throwing myself out of a plane at 10,000ft in the air, despite having never had any inclination or experience of skydiving in the past and a slight fear of heights.
I'm confident we can smash the previous record of £2,700 and raise some much needed funds to go towards our continued wildlife conservation efforts. It's the time of year now when we will start seeing plenty of young orphaned wildlife coming in and we will definitely need the extra coin to keep them well fed and warm.
Please consider sponsoring me to support the work I do at Freshfields Animal Rescue rescuing our persecuted wildlife. The skydive is set for Saturday 4th June and I'm already getting nervous, having never been skydiving before, so I would greatly appreciate the support as I'm sure the foxes will too!
