My friend Tony Fordham died last year. He was a great guy! A man of true dedication in all he achieved. I still find it hard to believe he's not here. His outlook on life,even in the direst of circumstances was unbelievable and his attitude could be an inspiration to all of us.          I wanted to do something more than just think of him every now and again.                                                                                                      

Thats why six of tonys friends and I are doing a sponsored bike ride from Frome to Padstow. We are raising money for Positive Action on Cancer who provide a fantastic counselling service for families in times of illness or bereavment.                                                              

The ride will be 155miles over 3 days starting on the 21st june 2012.

The riders taking part are M Date,P Date,T Curtis,D Martland,D Mcnally and H Northeast with B Say providing roadside assistance (hopefully we won't need any!)                                                              

 I'm certain we can go that far but only with your kind donations to push us on. Thankyou so much!

On behalf of the entire team i'd like to thank everyone who has supported us in any way. A fabulous reception at the harlyn with big smiles all round. A really hard few days on the bike only possible with the best team anyone could ask to ride with! There will be a video to follow documenting some of our journey.We truly are humbled by people's generosity. What a fitting tribute to a remarkable man!
