We put on inclusive sporting events to break down barriers that exist in sport

Story

The children and school staff were very much inspired by a visit from John Willis in assembly last term and we have decided that we would like to raise money for John’s campaign, especially as it is a Olympics and Paralympics year.

John, who was born without forearms or lower legs, is the  founder and CEO of Power2inspire and has been participating in 34 Olympic and Paralympic sports as part of his Road2Rio campaign to raise
the profile of inclusive sports. After the Paralympics, the Power2Inspire campaign will continue to raise money to deliver
PowerHouse
Games
, inclusive sports events which aim to bring together disabled and non-disable children and young people and we would like to raise money to help this important cause.

At Power2Inspire, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sport, regardless of body type, age, disability, or ethnicity. So we have created inclusive sporting events, where we deliver adapted sports in schools, organisations, and in local community centres.
