We support people who live with diabetes to help prevent long term complications

Story

I have foolishly agreed to this charity cycle ride along a 14 mile stretch of the Brampton Valley Way Cycle route between Market Harborough and Chapel Brampton. I haven't done any cycling for nearly 20 years and any that know me will know that fitness is not one of my strong points.  This will be a challenge and a half  so i am after as much support as possible.

I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes  in October 2014 and when a friend asked me if i would support her in on this ride i thought this was a good way of supporting a worth while charity that do a lot of good work for Diabetics and there families.

I would be very grateful for any contributions you can make to support me in this challenge.

Thanks

The InDependent Diabetes Trust (IDDT) is an organisation for people living with diabetes run by people living with diabetes. We recognise that when one person in a family lives with diabetes, this affects other family members and we offer support to partners and parents. We raise awareness of important issues for people with diabetes and provide information in non-medical language.
