Story

If you're reading this you'll know Maxine Aitken and you'll know she's fighting a big fight right now.

I figured running the Paisley 10K on Sunday 21 August would be a small gesture on my part to show that I am with her on that journey, albeit from a distance.

I asked Maxine if there was a particular charity she would like me to try and raise some money for, she suggested SHARE Scotland which has been going for about 30 years, is based in Glasgow, and does amazing things helping people with disabilities live independent, active lives.

I know there are so many good causes and demands on your money, so anything you can do is very much appreciated and I know will make a real difference.

If you're making a donation be sure to leave a message giving Maxine a big shout out.

Thanks loads,

Colin
