I am a trustee for Learning for Life and those who know me know how much I hate flying - I really hate it. I am about to undertake a 10,000 miles round trip by plane to meet the people we support; children who are sent to work at an age that our children are just settling in to school and women who want access to their rights. My mate Ian Kennedy is running the London Marathon to raise funds for the charity and I want to use my own 'marathon' journey to raise some funds towards his target. sponsoring me £1 per 1000 miles would be just a tenner, but anything, 10p would be welcome.
