It's simple.  You donate money.  I will match £ for £, upto £9,000 in total (funded £1,500 from my pocket and £7,500 from friends and contacts).  So every £1 you donate attracts another £9.  

If we get £1,500 (excluding matching) I won't drink any tea or coffee for 10 days.  (I have 5 to 6 cups a day and last time I did this I had a stinking headache for 7 conscutive days!)

And if we get £5,000 (excluding matching) within 10 hours, I will give up alcohol for Christmas.
