In memory of Shaun Bowden

Story

Shaun Bowden died recently while we were walking in Scotland, a thing he loved doing. Glencoe Mountain Rescue risked their lives to find him and bring his body back. Im running St Albans half marathon to raise money for Glencoe Mountain Rescue. Nevertheless I am asking you not to donate any money because:

1) If more than £1000 is raised I have pledged to do the run in climbing gear (see photo)

2) I have bet a number of friends that I will beat them in the race and (1) will put me at a serious disadvantage. Any money I win will be given to GMR

Most of you will be happy not to donate and thus prevent me:

a) looking stupid

b) losing money

However some of you may have a sentimental and misguided affection for Shaun and his memory and feel that you want to donate. To you I would say, it is time to move on, Shaun has been dead for over a month now and it is time to support the living i.e. me.

Therefore please, please do not donate any money on this page.
