<p>I am taking part in the London Marathon to raise money for the East of England Ambulance NHS Trust - Beccles station. Two years ago they responded to my 999 call when I got home to find my husband had suffered a heart attack. Their efforts to survive him and the support they gave me and my family on what was the worst time of my life ever was incredible. As a way to thank them, and in memory of my husband, I set up the 'Dick Whittington Memorial Fund' and have so far raised £530. I do hope you will be able to donate to this really worthwhile cause. </p>
