Story

My Dear Canine and Human Friends,

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Woof Woof

I am really sad to tell you that Doushman, my dearest friend and “foreign brother” has sadly gone to rainbow bridge on 21 of January 2012.

Doushman, also known as Bob (he gained this extra name after he won his crowning CC and BOB at Crufts 2009) was an incredible Afghan Hound who will never be forgotten.

Doust was like sunshine, always smiling, happy and so very special. He loved life so much. I still can't believe that he is gone. He was trully one in a million.

He has a touched the hearts of so many humans all around Europe who have had the pleasure of meeting/spending time with him.

Doushman was taken from us much too soon having lost his battle against cancer. He died from hemangiosarcoma, a very aggressive form of cancer just 2 weeks after being diagnosed. Having a terminal cancer didn’t stop him living his life to the full and was still chasing squirrels and playing with his friends the day before.

He died peacefully in his sleep with his mum Masha holding his paw and surrounded by his family.

He is greatly missed but never ever forgotten.

I am organizing a fun walk on Holkham beach on Saturday the 26th of May 2012 in Doushman's memory and I would like to invite you all to join me. Doust loved this fantastic dog friendly beach and had so much fun there. I just couldn't think of a better place than his favourite beach. Let me know if you would like to join us. It will be a fun day with sunshine or rain. The only condition is for you to wear bright and fun clothes on the day. :-) This walk will be in aid of the Animal Cancer Trust that continues to carry out research into Animal cancers and funds the various Oncology centres.

Animal Cancer Trust is totally committed to funding the fight against cancer in your pets. Its aims are to provide education and information; facilitate research development and improve our understanding and treatment of cancer; and work with partners at home and abroad to pursue the fight against cancer in your pets.

Any donations towards this great cause no matter how BIG or tinny will help with research into finding a cure for animal cancer.

And yes, even a donation as small as one pound or euro will make a difference.

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make a donation for this great cause no matter where in a world you are. Together we can beat this evil illness which has taken our very special friend.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR DONATIONS IN A MEMORY OF DOUSHMAN AND ALL THE PETS TAKEN FROM OUR LIVES FAR TOO SOON BY CANCER.

 Love and licks from
