<p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Well some of you will know that I now run the charity <strong style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal;">Who Cares? Scotland <a href="http://www.whocaresscotland.org/"><span style="color: #0000ff;">http://www.whocaresscotland.org/</span></a> </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">Put simply, it is our job to make sure that the voices of young people in care are heard and improves the way they are looked after/brought up. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">We do this by using advocates to speak on behalf of young people or by supporting them to have the confidence to speak for themselves. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">This is a crucial role in making sure that we as a society look after our most vulnerable young people to the best of our ability.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">To aid us to do this I&rsquo;m afraid we have an ongoing need for funds, so to entice you to give I am going to walk over burning coals this Saturday evening in Perth.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;"> </span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">This is particularly onerous for me, as my hefty carcass will be pressed down on my very flat, size 14&rdquo; plates of feet. </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">The other matter that is causing me nearly as much angst is that it will mean I miss the Scotland rugby game&hellip; </span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman; font-size: small;"> </span><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">It would be great if you could go to my just giving page to make a donation towards this painful Saturday.</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">We are only a small charity so any contribution counts.</span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 10pt;">If you would like to make a more regular contribution to Who Cares?
