Story

The Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine's FPSU (Filarial Programmes Support Unit ) is fundraising to help fight the devastating effects of filarial diseases, responsible for permanent disability to people in some of the world’s poorest communities.

It is estimated that over one billion people from the world’s most disadvantaged and poorest communities suffer from at least one neglected tropical disease (NTD), which can significantly impact upon their physical and emotional wellbeing.

To help support this worthwhile cause I am running the Rock & Roll Half Marathon in our lovely city of Liverpool - and dragging my boyfriend along with me who will probably end up beating my time!
