Story

Endometriosis is a chronic and debilitating condition affecting 1 in 10 women - approx. 1.5m in the UK alone.

It can cause inflammation, severe pain and the formation of scar tissue. There is no proven cause of endometriosis and no cure. Despite it affecting so many women, most people have never even heard of the condition and subsequently there is a woeful lack of research funding.

We want to change that so my husband James and friend Vicky and I will be climbing 8 peaks in the Lake District on 3 Sept. to raise money for the World Endometriosis Research Foundation (WERF). It's going to be tough, and we're going to get through a lot of Kendal Mint Cake, but hopefully we'll make it!

We would really appreciate any support you can give us, however small. Thanks so much!
