Not many people know but our first date happened at the Bendrigg Trust. I was freelancing for them and Calum had come in to volunteer. Not your usual first date as we spent it caving, followed by the pub and being parked up in our seperate vans outside of the centre. Bendrigg is a very unique centre: welcoming, forward thinking and open to everyone. A centre that is accessible to all due to their adaptive equipment and willingness of the staff to find a way for everybody. There are only a few places like this in the UK and those who get to participate in a course at Bendrigg really treasure the experience.
