Three years ago I was inspired by the Bucket List blog of Alice Pyne, a British teen with terminal cancer. Always thinking about others, she created Alice's Escapes, a charity that pays for seriously ill children and their families to take a much needed holiday. We have all been touched by cancer and other chronic illnesses in some way. For my birthday this year, please help me do good by showing support of these children and giving them a break from hospitals with those they love. When we reach our goal, I will be shaving my head as a visual reminder that they are not alone in their fights. My 61+ cm of hair will then be donated for wigs for kids in need.

What Your Money Buys Every little bit makes an enormous difference towards these larger expenses:

£6/$10: A load of laundry done for the family

£12/$20: A huggable nightlight toy for young children

£31/$50: Gifts upon arrival for the sick child and any siblings (which will occupy them so that mum and dad can unpack)

£92/$150: A FULL food hamper including luxury items and family meals for the entire week

£307/$500: Transportation costs for one family

**£615/$1000: An entire holiday, including everything above and days out, for one family. OR an entire holiday for two families who do not need transportation. *GOAL*
