My sister Jaime was always a very social fun loving person, that always had so much energy and would never sit still for longer than two minutes.
She would always offer advise to people, always lend a helping hand to others in need no matter who the person was.
Always be the shoulder to cry on and always help a person in need.
She was always a chronic asthmatic from a young age which we noticed worsened over time and hospital trips became more frequent.
But after many years of being prescribed a high dose of steroids and antibiotics she was finally diagnosed with COPD, which is very rare in someone so young.
After her diagnoses her health quickly deteriorated over a few years and Jaime became house bound not only due to her health but also her appearance as the steroids had taken there toll on her body.
She was in pain most days, but would always have a smile and continuously tell people she was "ok!"
Sadly one morning she woke up feeling unwell more than normal and that was the day her body could take no more and she sadly passed away.
She has left such a hole in our family. To keep Jaime's legacy going myself and three of her good friends have decided to raise money and hopefully some small awareness of this crippling diseases that took such a beautiful person and mother from us so young.
My sister struggled with her health and was in discomfort most days, so we decided to take part in a challenge that would push us to our limits as my sister was pushed to hers many times.
We are four normal woman, we are not athletes, we just want to do something that would make Jaime proud.
So any donation would be truly appreciated.
This was Jaime's story .
