As many of you already know, last year we ran in the Great North Run to help raise money for Bendrigg Trust who are a charity very close to our hearts. This year we will be doing the same!

Based in the beautiful Lake District they provide outdoor activity holidays for disabled and disadvantaged children and adults. For the last few years I (Paul) have attended one of their courses along with my Uncle Jim who has Cerebral Palsy and my Uncle Dave who helps with Jim and the rest of the group, and has been doing so now for 20 years!!

It's a real honour to get to see the amazing work they do with people like my Uncle Jim, who absolutely adores Bendrigg and all the staff there, but they need as much help as they can get!

The centre is not cheap to run and relies on donations to keep these amazing courses running and keep the facilities up to scratch. This is where you lot come in!!

Last year everyone was so generous and as a team, along with other members of Bendrigg and some more close friends and family, we managed to raise around £6000 which is a huge achievement! But this year we want to do even better.

Please help Jamie and I to reach our personal target of £500 and more if possible :)

If everybody that sees this (and I will make sure you do!!!) donates just £1 we will reach our goal. Simple as that!
