Story
A long kiss goodbye...
On the 16th January 2015, we sadly lost our beloved Mum.
Our Mum was the most beautiful person inside and out. Her strength of character always shone through yet she still fell victim to a disease called 'alcoholism', and as a result so did we.
As adult children of an alcoholic parent we want to help other children who face this daily battle. To us it was fight for survival, desperately trying to save our mum's life, yet left with the feeling of being scared and helpless. Our love alone was never enough.
"Sometimes it's better to keep silent than to tell others what you feel. Because it hurts badly when you come to know that they can hear you, but cannot understand."
